HYDRODYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF SUBMERGED FLOATING BRDIGE WITH SUSPENSION SUPPRORT AFTER CABLE FAILURE

Submerged floating tunnels with suspension supports (SFTSS) resemble to bridges on lands, which are installed a number of hangers the main tower and cables support girder. On other hand, as SFTSS underwater has resist buoyancy forces in an offshore environment, cable was at bottom tunnel body connected hanger. The concept first proposed by Won et al (2019, 2022). It found that generated itself tuned mass damper (TMD) effect due interaction between cable. This can induce vibration be attenuated according environment conditions such waves currents, had feature length towers longer than 3 km (Won al., supported aforementioned. In case hanger down failures, behavior characteristics would changed greatly reduced structure safety. this study, behavioral were analyzed five scenarios failure.
